Is there a way we can get out of our Lease/Purchase Agreement?

We are buying our house with a lease to purchase agreement. It states if we do not exercise our right to purchase we forfeit all deposits and money we have put down. The lease also states the house is being sold "as is". My son has been hospitalized multiple times for severe asthma reactions and it has been brought to our attention that we have a major mold issue in our basement behind the drywall. Is there any way we will be able to get out of this agreement and get our money back since this is a severe health hazard that was covered up instead of addressed and we had no way of knowing since the basement was already finished when we were shown the house? We really don't want to lose everything we have put forward but we can't jepordize our children's heath either. Please help!

I agree that complete water changes are VERY stressful for your fish and should be avoided. 40-50% every other day in emergencies are much more effective. To treat funguses I would use a combination of Primafix and Melafix (5 ml of each) for at least 2 weeks or a week after visible signs disappear. Both of these medications are naturally based so they are not nearly as hard on your fish as traditional medicines (that often stress fish and lead to secondary infections). I would also recommend adding 2 Tbsp of aquarium salt (not table salt or marine salt) per 10 gallons of tank water, dissolved in a cup of dechlorinated water first. This is also how to dose powdered medications to avoid having them consumed by your fish, by pre-dissolving the medication in a cup of water. Feed sparingly while they are sick as they will eat less and the food will rot and foul the water. Good luck.

Good question. I would wonder why we would be going to Libya at all but then I don't own an oil company. Mexicans are killing Americans too and the spring breakers are advised not to go to Mexico for Spring Break. They have been fighting the drug cartels and just last week arrested a slew of them. They just keep coming and will as long as it is easy for them to get across the border and melt into the illegal neighborhoods like they are national heroes. My close friend wants to commit suicide. How talk him out of it.?

He was one of my best friends. Recently he just got out of a breakup with his girlfriend. He wanted the pain to go away so he started to like my girlfriend. I like to sing, but I'm afraid?

I love to sing. It makes me feel good. I don't sing to any of the music I WRITE, but I sing to my favorite bands/songs. But I am terrified of doing it. I have no idea whether I'm good or bad, though I ume I'm pretty bad. I'm a 16 year old guy, so trying to get a high octave range can be a challenge sometimes. Recently, I got "Green Day: Rock Band" for the Xbox 360 because their stuff from the 90's is my favorite music ever, and I love playing Rock Band drums (and YES I play both real drums and guitar, I swear to God). But I decided recently to get a microphone for the game so I could sing. I've only played a few songs so far because of my nerves. I get so afraid of someone hearing my voice, that unless every door in my house is locked, including the one to my room, and unless the volume on my T.V. is up pretty high, I won't do it. I know it's ridiculous, but it's terrifying for me, and I've had experiences where people have walked in when I'm singing. This has become kind of a ridiculous phobia for me, and I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that I have both anxiety and depression. But now more than ever, I REALLY want to come up with the courage to do it because I've been writing music lately, as well as recording. So far, I've recorded the guitar and drums to this song, and so I still need b and vocals. The vocals I think will be primarily stuff (Cannibal Corpse style), which I think I'm DECENT at, but that makes me even more nervous because it's just so different. Any tips to get over this?

Sanity is like being awake, it occurs usually at best on meds. Violent denial usually keeps you in the hospital, or endless crying from depression sickness. Panic attacks are a sign meds are needed, and sometimes people get too scared to ask for special pills for that. Like fear teaches your body at warning, but if your mind is afraid when you're actually relatively safe then you could use pills. You could think you need fear, or blame yourself for the anxiety. That stuff.

What can be done to exonerate my son in a juvenile case from three years ago?

My son was found delinquent in an attempted , kidnapping case three years ago. The public defender didn't realize the kit was in his file until the prosecutor mentioned it to him at trial. No DNA evidence. The accuser tesitified she feared for her life because he had a pager. She claimed he drug her by her wrist for over 500 feet, at 4 p.m. in an area where there is always an abundance of people around but shesaw no one. The Public defender didn't submit the alibi in time and never utilized the witness list or the witnesses in the court house. I went to the Public defenders office to request an appeal. I was told they would file it but never did. I complained to the Ohio Supreme Court but it concluded the PD did a good job because he got the charge reduced to attempted . I have requested transcripts in Nov. 2006 but have yet to receive an answer. I was not notified of his conviction or sentencing at which the judge told my son "I'm surprised your reporter mother isn't here

Anyone ever dealt with depression, or have a friend who has dealt with it? PLEASE HELP!?

I am a 22 year old woman. And I haven't been able to find a boyfriend in three years--I've dated a lot casually to see if it leads to anything else, and I've been considered pretty, sweet, etc. by many guys, but it never turns out well. The guy is either terrified of commitment, "doesn't want to hurt me," feels like "I deserve better," or just plain ends up interested in another girl. It's frustrating. I just recently graduated college and work as a Preschool teacher, and plan on starting grad school in a few months. I enjoy dancing, yoga, reading, writing, and scrapbooking in my spare time, and have a lot of close female friends. But although all these things make me happy, they don't fill that void of having a relationship. I feel as though there is a huge gap in my life where someone special should be, and it's so frustrating to not be able to find that. I hate, HATE having no life (I don't want casual , it seems sleazy and unsafe to me), and I hate not having a guy in my life. Not only am I emotionally unfulfilled, I'm extremely ually frustrated. ok here is the situation..my pregnancy is very rough now, and i am on bed rest and i was wondering if you can give me some input on this situation...as of right now i am 3 weeks shy of 6 months, and my baby is not moving and her heart beat is very very weak, and the dr said that she may not make it...he said that she has a weak heart and i may not make it to 6 months cuz her health is slowly deteriating.(spelling sorry) and he said that i should terminate the pregnancy before it would put my life in jeopardy to...WHAT WOULD YOU DO???? and i do have an option to have it early at 6 months but i have a 50/50 chance of her not being alive...or even worse still born...PLEASE HELP....WHAT WOULD CAUSE HER HEART TO DO THIS AND MY PREGNANCY NOT TO BE HEALTHY???? Hip Injury, broken, fractured?

On saturday night I went sledding with friends and I hit a pretty big jump and must have landed right on my hip. It is my right hip and I can walk and move it around, but I walk with a limp. If I stand on it at just the right angle I get a sharp pain like a lot of pressure at the top of my hip going in to my back around my love handle area. I don't know if I should go to the doctor or not but I can't really afford it. Is there anyway it could be fractured or maybe it popped out and popped back in I don't know. Help me please?

Why does my kitchen cabinet beneath the sink smell?

The cabinet beneath my kitchen sink and disposal smells like rotting food, but I can't pinpoint the source of the smell. Oddly, the disposal itself does NOT smell -- I stick my nose down the drain and it smells OK. But if I open the cabinet doors and kneel down, the smell of rotting food is strong... but I've cleaned everything out of the cabinet. I have put ice cubes, lots of citrus peel and baking soda down the disposal to clear any smell, but again, the source appears beneath the sink and not the disposal from the top side. (House is 10 years old; disposal is 3 years old.) There are no visible leaks beneath the cabinet. Two hints:1) While the disposal from the top doesn't smell; the pipe beneath the sink does; and 2) the smell is strongest when I run the dishwasher, but it comes and goes all the time. Any thoughts on what could be causing the smell or ideas to fix?

Yikes I need an answer from anyone who actually knows about this from experience or professionally. Hubby and I filed our 2007 taxes via Turbotax (first time w/Turbotax) in March. Found out that we owed and sent completed forms to IRS requesting payments be made. Received reply letters back from IRS approving payments. Just got an email from Turbotax as a "reminder" that one final signed form needs be sent to IRS after IRS approves your tax return - as a reminder ONLY not stated it was not done on our part. Called IRS and they say they have no info. on our 2007 return but the Rep. I spoke to said "Well then you must have filed it in time as you say you did since you received reply correspondence from the IRS." - Not sure what to think. Did we mistakenly forget to send IRS one last signed form? According to our records we have done all that we need to then WHY does IRS not show that we filed yet? Pls keep in mind we have always used H & R Block and first time using Turbotax. Thanks

Spray glue would not work reliably because the bottle caps would have to be even all the way around to make contact with the glue. If you were to spray the fridge surface first, then a lot of dirt will be sticking to it too and it is very difficult to clean. I would glue a magnet that you can get cheaply from WalMart to the inside of the cap and then place it on the the fridge. You can even get magnets that have adhesive already applied so all you have to do is stick the cap to it.

He has got the civil engineering gene for sure, and has shown interest in "engineering" with legos, and trying to draw physical blueprints. What does your 10-30 month old eat?

My son eats pretty healthy as well, but I allow him treats occasionally. He is 18 months old. He is allowed whole milk with meals and water in between but no juice. He has always been a good eater and eats a large variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, etc. The only thing he isn't doing well with right now is meat. Sometimes he is ok with it, others he is not. I try to choose healthy snacks. I am not as concerned with calories as I am artificial ingredients, flavorings and corn syrup. I try to choose snacks without those things. He is a tall skinny kid so I don't give him reduced fat anything at this time. My pediatrician did not recommend it due to high sodium content in light dairy, etc. So for now he gets regular cheese, milk, yogurt.

My friend's husband set her up as kidnapping their child and she has 3year probation not to leave province(criminal side). Now they want to settle divorce(family side) but her husband wants to put many restrictions regarding, custody, residence, freedom to visit her parents etc. even after 3years until their child becomes 18. I dont know who this judge is but i think every American should know who it is. When our justice system side's with the law breakers our system fails! I will do a search on who this is later. States have always had the right to make thier own state laws. If the feds want to they can impose federal law which overides state law. This judge it seems who ever it is cares nothing about imposing a law to correct an ILLEGAL matter. I hope this question was directed at judges with conservative positions. My dad gets drunk and becomes very angry and abusive. What Sauce Should I Use?

I wouldn't serve meat with fake crab in it. Personally, I would go for a white sauce. I make a more figure friendly version by melting 2 tablespoons of er in a skillet, then adding 2 tablespoons of er, whisk it around and let the flour cook for about 2 mins. I then add 1 1/2 cups of chicken stock, and whisk until smooth, then allow thicken over high heat. I then add about 1/2 cup of single cream. Now add your fake crab and some parmesan cheese, and serve over your spaghetti. Don't forget the fresh black pepper, and salt to taste.

You instructor or you step mom will help you remember everything. i cant tell you what breed of horse to get, you just need to start riding and find one you love. I would say at least 16 hands. If you still do jumping and barrels and want a horse that can do both, i would recommend a quarter horse. They aren't the best jumpers in the world but they're pretty good. Starting my period or implantation bleeding?

Most of last week my CM was normal- white and creamy. Then it got clear and stretchy like normal. 4 days ago this little squishy tan/yellow clump thing came out on the tissue. 3 days ago up until today it's been clear and stretchy like normal, but a dark brown color mixed in with some of the clear. It's odorless and not heavy, very little amount. Then after I wipe a couple of times again, it's like normal, but different CM- watery and clear. Also when I woke up this morning there was dried up dark brown flakes sticking to my panties. What does this mean? I shouldn't start my period for atleast another 5 days or so. I don't remember my CM ever being dark brown almost a week before my period. The last time I had was 14 days ago. Is this an early sign of pregnancy? What does CM look like 2 weeks into pregnancy? Why is my fish tank water cloudy (white/gray)?

I have a 27 gallon tank with a fluval 305 filter running. Many live plants, 6 platies, 3 ghost cats and an aquatic frog. The tank has been running for 3 weeks and I cycled it using the bacterial packets available. For the past few days, it has been a cloudy gray/white, each day getting more cloudy. All water quality parameters are good and I have been doing 10% water changes every few days to about once a week. It began to clear up but then got cloudy again. What pill should I change to?

I have been on the pill, Yasmin for the past 3 months. I went on this specific pill because my skin was experiencing problems, i had lots of little pimples everywhere that made me feel insecure. But after about 2 weeks on Yasmin, my skin was worse than ever before. I had multiple blind pimples in one section of my chin, plus pimples outside of my regular T-zone. They were all over my cheeks and neck. Not only has it caused my skin to go into full on acne, but I am extremely moody and have been experiencing headaches regularly. I have waited 3 months and there has been no clearing up of my skin. I also have fuller, and larger -but that doesn't really bother me. A miracle............?

Do you believe in getting baptized? I always thought that getting baptized was stupid, even though I am a christian, that does not by any means mean I do not know God or underestimate him or whatever, but I just thought it ws silly. If you confess your sins to God then why do you need to get baptized. A few people at my church, that I attend so very rarely, were getting baptized one day and you were supposed to sign up for it but I thought "I thought God's redemption wasn't meant to be paid out?" I mentioned it to the pastor before the baptizing and he said I had a good point and that it was to see how many were willing. It was near time to go and I had been thinking "If people say that it's supposed to bring you closer to the Lord, then what would it hurt?" so as he was already done baptizing and he was in the water preaching about when the next baptism would be held I thought why wait? And all of a sudden I felt a powerful need or urge to get baptized, so I yelled out "Pastor Tony?" he obviously said Yes, dear can I help you? He's a sweet old guy who reminds me of my grandpa. And so I straight out asked him "I know you are already done baptizing people, but I need to get baptized, will you baptize me, right now?" He smiled and said "Of course." So I went to him and he dunked me under IN my clothes that I had on. I came up and I realized I didn't have a towel but all of a sudden all these people come running toward me with towels, and I feel so blessed. After the sermon everyone was telling me how brave I was but I didn't care like I would have normally. Pastor Tony came up to me and said, "I had the feeling that you were gong to ask to be baptized." I asked him back "How could you have known that and he said "Annie, Then I told him "But I didn't even know that I was going to do that, it sort of slipped out. I didn't realize that I had said it until after, and everyone was staring at me." He simply said "Annie, God speaks to me and I speak to you I only knew it was a matter of time before he got to you." He turned and disappeared into the crowd of people. I was the last one to talk to him. Pastor Tony Barnes died that evening for unknown causes. I now know his last act was to save me. I only wished we would have talked more, and I would have realized sooner. Seeing in his will that he had previously left all his things to charity, and then a couple weeks later a really spooked police officer came to my door and said a miracle had happened, he said Pastor Tony's will had miraculously changed and that all his things were left to me! Recurring Staph Infections--- Help?

I started in November with 2 boils that became absessed. Because I don't have insurance, I tried to stay home with home remedies and ended up in the hospital with cellulitis(tissue infection) in addition to the absesses. I was there for 4 days in real big pain. From then until now ( February) I've had 4 more ( on the 4th episode now) and one of those sent me back to the hospital, too. I've been on these antibiotics: Zosyn, Vancomycin, Unacillin, Ancef, Keflex, Rocephin, Bactrim ( took entire doses, too.) and am now on Doxycycline. I bathe religiously, don't have HIV or Diabetes, and use a brand new razor EACH time I shave. And still I keep getting sick. My BF and roomate don't get sick at all, and they drink and smoke like chimneys. What gives? In November they'd said it wasn't MRSA, but after so many antibiotics and recurrences is it possible that I have created a resistant strain inside of me?? How do I get rid of these? I can't miss any more work and I still have no insurance.

You could have developed pneumonia which could kill you (though that's not likely); moreover, bacterial pneumonia would need antibiotics. I'm guessing you're not in the USA. Back in the 90's, I remember watching a prison movie where the prisoners held the guards hostage and were outside in the field causing a riot. 4 month old wants to be held all the time?

My baby is 4 months old. My problem is he wants to be held constantly. I've tried getting one of those baby wraps and he hates it and and screams to get out. He has a swing, a bouncer, a jumperoo, gyms and all kinds of stuff and won't sit in any of it for more than 5 minutes. He won't do tummy time at all, I try to lay on the floor with him to play and he screams until picked up. When he takes naps during the day as soon as i try to lay him down he wakes up right away and screams. He does the same thing at night so I just lay him in bed with me. I don't get to eat at all anymore because when I try to cook or eat something quick he screams. My husband works 12 hour shifts 7 days a week and i'm all alone at home most of the time and I can't take it anymore. I love my baby more than anything and love holding him, but i'm only one person and can't hold him 24 hours out of the day. He won't even sit down alone long enough for me to use the bathroom. What should I do? I've always been against letting him "cry it out" but now i'm not sure what to do anymore

My coworkers/housemates R about 90% from1 particular impoverished country (for this venue, I'll call it "Venus"). Of that 90% about 80 % of those R Muslim. 2 of many possible examples: They pray in Islamic chants, often not in the bedroom/other private area. In a congested area of the living room they say that praying facing east is necessary. Is this the only area in our house that faces east? I have been told to turn the TV which is at a normal level--down or mute it b/c it's interfering with their “focus on Allah”. Another: There’s a store down the street from the building I work in. Every time I go to the store, I ask if anyone needs anything b/c it’s quite a hike. Whenever when they go, they only ask others from Venus what they may need. I've asked them why & they say it's "cultural". Americans say "It's cultural yes but, only b/c you're female and not to be respected by their culture." How can I tell if a behavior is cultural or the person's just an azz? What do you think?

Looking for advice to initiate a crucial conversation?

Simply put - have been dating a guy for 6 months. He has been staying at my house nightly and I'm beginning to feel suffocated. I have been able to talk to him about anything...except this. As I type this I realize that if he loves me and I ask him for space he will be understanding. I also understand that even though I feel by having this converstation he is going to hear either it's "all or nothing"...and in that case does he really love me that much. Ok, my husband and I have been TTC for a while now. I was due for my period this past weekend, but hasn't come yet. But I have been feeling slight cramping in my stomach, and something almost feels like it's pushing down on my pelvic floor. Also, lots of headaches and nausea. I don't want to be too hopeful, because I have missed a period and had headaches and nausea before because of stress. Are holland lop rabbits healthy and like to be with people and handled?

I loved my holland lop. He lived inside. I got him when he was a baby and he was handled quite frequently. It's very important to handle them when they are young so they get used to it. I would pick up my rabbit and hold him in my arms like a baby. At first he would fight it, but then he got so used to it that I could hold him like that until he died. He lived a long time too; 8 and 1/2 years. RIP Peter!

i HAD the env2 and i got it cause everyone liked it and it was popular. i HATED it. in 4 months, the screen would always go orange, the screen got 3 huge scratches on it (all in one fall) and dropped calls. the blitz is better. i love the slide feature and the 1.3 megapixel camera, voice recorder, VZ navigator, etc. GO WITH THE BLITZ!!!

It's well known that any starting pitcher cannot pitch at full velocity for all pitches. If he does so, he doesn't last 5-7 innings. If a winning of the game is the ultimate goal, and if we ignore the ego of the starting pitcher, isn't it better to replace Starting pitcher with many many reliever/closers?
