Is it safe to put a drink with dry ice in a Polycarbonate or Acrylic container for Halloween?

I want to make a huge batch (2-5 gallons) of Kool Aid and put dry ice in it to make it "fog" for a fun drink effect for Halloween, but I am not sure what type of container would be safe for the kiddies. I would like something that is translucent or clear like a Polycarbonate or Acrylic container, but I am not sure it is safe and won't crack. The container would have a spout, so they would not get into the container, but I just want to make sure that the container won't crack or emit any harmful fumes created by a reaction with the dry ice.
