How do you plow other peoples farms in Farm Town on Facebook?

you know when you go to the market to get a job? Well whenever i get a plow job and try to plow the other peoples yard it just becomes gr and I don't know why. Can someone please tell me how to do it so this doesn't happen or what I'm doing wrong.
