What Is A Rainforest?

It is the name used for jungle. It sounds much better and destroying the jungle doesn't have the same emotional tug at the heart strings so it has been adopted. It also applies to some temperate forests like in the pacific northwest of the US. Don't get me wrong. I totally support saving as much rain forest as possible. I am just old enough to remember when it was called a jungle.
